Alaskan-born saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Cooper White was inspired to pursue a professional music career by attending the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. That spark led him to study at the Lionel Hampton School of Music, and eventually earned him a partial scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where he honed his skills in saxophone, arranging, and production. After Berklee, Cooper took his talents to sea, performing aboard most of the major cruise lines and private yachts and visiting 70 countries along the way. He also spent time as a multi-instrumentalist with the Samsaya trio out of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and completed tours across both the USA and Europe.
His credits include For The Record: The Brat Pack in Los Angeles and Broadway’s After Midnight. As a writer, Cooper has written for artists with credits on The Voice, Broadway, American Idol, Britain’s Got Talent, and a Woodstock 1969 revival production. As a solo artist, he headlined his own cabaret show while performing on cruise ships, and rounded things out with hotel residencies in both Costa Rica and Mexico.
