AFM Lester Petrillo Fund

Started in 1951 with a $10,000 personal contribution from then-President James C. Petrillo in memory of his late son, the Lester Petrillo Memorial Fund for Disabled Musicians is a charitable trust fund that provides financial aid to disabled members.

Music Performance Fund

The MPF is the world's largest sponsor of live, admission-free musical programs.  Their priority is music that enhances education and affords students an opportunity to enjoy live music and interact with professional musicians.  There is never an admission charge for MPF performances, and its performances cannot be used to raise money, sell merchandise, or promote political or religious events.

Sound Recording Special Payments Fund

The Sound Recording Special Payments Fund ("SRSPF") distributes annual supplemental wages to musicians under the collective bargaining agreement between the American Federation of Musicians (“AFM”) and the recording industry.


Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund

The Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund shall provide support to film musicians and the entertainment community worldwide and assist in establishing recognition of musicians' work by ensuring the payment, processing and distribution of residuals generated by their talent and services.

Sound Exchange

SoundExchange is the non-profit performance rights organization that collects statutory royalties from satellite radio (such as SIRIUS XM), internet radio, cable TV music channels and similar platforms for streaming sound recordings.
