Ashby Andrus
Ashby studied at Fresno State for several years before obtaining his baccalaureate at University of Pacific in Applied Music on both- the clarinet and the saxophone. Having studied with such renowned artists as Don DaGradi and Stan Getz, Andrus also studied audio engineering while at UOP and later on at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague. Little did he know that later on - he would run into Mark Lewis, who (also studied and played with Getz) was in Holland the same time Andrus was. Andrus was featured on Mark Lewis Christmas Album of last year, “Angels We Have Heard on High Street” on two tracks, and with Mark’s help just completed his debut CD, entitled “Clarinet”.

Bill Anschell

Peter Caruso
Peter is an experienced and dynamic player who performs as a solo or with various small groups. He has studied with Joe Pass among others and finds great joy in sharing his passion for improvised music with anyone who cares to listen. Along with Jazz he is equally at home playing Latin, Brazilian and Classical guitar. A sought after instructor, he also keeps a private teaching studio on the east side.
Dick Coolen
Making his Home in Port Orchard Washington, A small hamlet about an hour from Seattle, Dick Coolen has performed throughout the Northwest area in such venues as the Sorrento Hotel, Edgewater, Four Seasons, Meany Hotel, Red Lyon, Marriot, Top of the Town, Grovner House, Westin Hotel, and El Gaucho’s in Tacoma. David George
Composer and trumpeter David George received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music (1980) with honors from Cornish College of the Arts where his instructors included Gary Peacock, Jim Knapp, Butch Nordal, Art Lande, and Julian Priester. He was also trumpeter/arranger with the Frank Grasso Big Band and Charles Green’s “Trumpetissimo” while based in Amsterdam. He worked with Dee Daniels, Sal Nistico, Toots Thielemans, and Phil Wilson. George has performed throughout Europe including: the Philip Morris, Heineken, and Camel Jazz Festivals, and also performed at The Concertgebouw and Odeon theaters in Amsterdam. George relocated to Tokyo from 1996 to 2000, where he was trumpet instructor at the Iida Jazz School. He also served as musical arranger and trumpeter for the Jimmie Smith 5tet.

Casey MacGill's Blue 4 Trio performs music that swings. Nat "King" Cole Trio meets the Mills Brothers. Fats Waller meets Fats Domino. Slim Galliard meets Fred Astaire. It is music of many decades and no decade in particular, all happening at the same time, woven into a seamless, beautiful whole. At the core of this group's sound are the band's sometimes sweet, sometimes rough-hewn three-part harmony vocals and a piano-ukulele-bass-and-drums rhythm section that swings in a variety of textures. Weekly Seattle gigs at landmark music venues The Pink Door, Salty's on Alki, and Tutta Bella have allowed them to hone their sound.

Bren Plummer
Bren Plummer is a double bassist and composer from Seattle, Washington. Known as an insightful interpreter of both jazz and classical music, Plummer is a member of two professional orchestras in Washington state and a regular contributor to jazz venues and night clubs all around Seattle. Plays jazz of the '20s & '30s! Organized by trombonist, Marc Smason, the band is a salute to, and extension of, the polyphonic hot jazz styles of New Orleans, Chicago and New York. The repertoire ranges from Louis Armstong to Charles Mingus and includes some original material as well.

He is veteran of more than two dozen Broadway shows, has played in some of the finest big bands in the country, and has performed with numerous jazz legends.
